From the streets of India to the shelves of Britain, Tuk Tuk Chai, are a bold new drink that is revolutionising the market. They combine the perfect infusion of black tea, milk, spices with just a hint of sugar.

With a taste for adventure & a passion for cultural fusion, Tuk Tuk Chai was created out of a real love for food & drinks.

The founders wanted to make the staple South Asian drink (Chai) available more widely, bringing a modern take on the Indian drink that keeps over 1 billion people fuelled in the busy streets of India.

You can enjoy Tuk Tuk Chai iced cold on the go or hot for an authentic street chai experience.

Currently listed on Ocado, Amazon, Facebook HQ; exporting to Saudi Arabia where they are listed in Danube supermarkets & WHSmith.

They have a culture where everyone works hard & plays hard in a supportive way. By working together & sharing ideas the team are more creative & more efficient too. The mission for the growing team is to build awareness of Tuk Tuk Chai & growing the presence of the brand nationally & internationally.

Journey So Far...

Brewing Started.

​Alex Thomas, Co-Founder, fell in love with chai when she first visited her husband, Rupesh's, hometown in Kerala, India.

Returning from one of their trips to Kerala, they started brewing chai after chai to come up with the most authentic recipe for their ready-brewed chai idea.

Launched Nationally.

Tuk Tuk Chai launched with 3 flavours, Authentic Original, Flavoursome Masala & Aromatic Cardamom Chai.

Voted ‘Most Innovative Product' at prestigious Lunch! trade show & were a finalist of the Virgin Foodpreneur competition.

Featured on Dragon's Den.

​Received an investment offer from Peter Jones on Dragon’s Den. But decided to part ways & instead raised £275,000 on Crowdcube with 375 investors.

Listed at all Harvey Nichols & 110 Sainsbury’s stores nationally

Finalists of 'The Great British Entrepreneur' awards.
