What founder Emilie started in a Citroën van back in 2012 has now become one of the fastest growing & most exciting tea brands in the UK.

Journey So Far...

Dreams Come True.

Having bored her friends for years about the poor quality of tea in London, their founder Emilie finally decided to do something about it. With plans to convert a 1974 Citroën-H van into a mobile tea bar, she took the idea to crowdfunding platform Kickstarter & 372 backers made that dream come true.

D2C Website Launch.

The first iteration of their direct-to-consumer website launches, allowing at home to customers to order bags of their carefully sourced tea leaves and herbs and explore tea related content and blog posts.

Bricks & Mortar Tea Bar.

Following another successful crowdfunding campaign with Crowdcube they opened their first bricks and mortar ‘tea bar’ in Old Street. They win their first Great Taste Award.

Flagship Bar.

Their flagship tea bar on Leather Lane opens, a haven for tea lovers worldwide!

Premium Tea Interest.

Driven by overwhelming demand from other cafes bars and restaurants to access their premium teas and support, they launch our foodservice range of teas to on trade. Later in the year they launch a range of 100% compostable teabags.

Record Breaking Numbers.

Re-launch of a new e-commerce platform, their 10,000th direct to consumer order and 600th on trade customer. Later that year they also launch a new range of retail ready plastic free loose leaf retail products. The launch of which coincides with the launch on the UK’s largest digital retailer – Ocado.
