The Opportunity
๐ Weโre looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer, reporting to the IT Manager, and to play an important role in developing and improving the systems that support the wider business.
โ๏ธ The role will focus on improving productivity and efficiency through the development, configuration, implementation, support and maintenance of IT systems and solutions.
What Youโll Be Doing
๐ Analyse business and system requirements, working with departments and stakeholders across the Group.
๐ป Develop new software and systems based on business requirements.
๐ Lead software development projects when required.
๐งช Carry out testing, trials and quality checks to ensure systems are functional and optimised.
๐๏ธ Design, update and maintain software databases.
๐ง Support existing software throughout its full lifecycle.
๐ฅ๏ธ Help maintain IT servers, devices and wider connectivity across the Group.
๐ค Work closely with end users to ensure technical compatibility and a positive user experience.
๐ฌ Communicate with external suppliers, customers, internal managers and employees.
๐ Provide updates to the IT Manager, Senior Management Team and Group Directors regarding system plans and project progress.
