🍫 Cocoba Chocolate is a growing premium chocolate and gifting business, known for its indulgent chocolate products, gifting ranges and passion for creating memorable chocolate experiences.

🆕 This is a newly created role, offering someone the opportunity to develop their procurement career while gaining exposure across purchasing, suppliers, inventory, logistics and wider supply chain operations.

🚀 Cocoba is looking for someone organised, commercially aware and eager to learn, who can support the purchasing process across multiple departments while helping to ensure goods and services are sourced efficiently, competitively and on time.

The Role

🛍️ Assist with the procurement of goods and services, processing purchase orders through the company’s ERP system.

🤝 Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure products are delivered on time, to the required quality standards and at competitive prices.

🗂️ Maintain accurate purchasing records, including purchase orders, supplier information, contracts and inventory levels.

💬 Support supplier negotiations around pricing, terms and commercial agreements while helping to build strong long-term relationships.

🚚 Coordinate deliveries and logistics schedules to support an efficient supply chain and minimise delays.

📦 Monitor stock and inventory levels, working with relevant teams to anticipate future purchasing requirements.

📊 Use ERP systems and procurement data to track performance, identify opportunities for improvement and support better purchasing decisions.

✅ Ensure purchasing activity follows Cocoba’s internal processes, procedures and policies.

About You

💻 Experience using an ERP system within purchasing, procurement, supply chain or a similar environment.

🤝 Comfortable dealing with suppliers and supporting commercial or pricing negotiations.

🚛 Good understanding of logistics, purchasing and wider supply chain processes.

📦 Familiarity with stock control, inventory management or merchandising would be beneficial.

🎯 Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

💡 Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working within a busy and evolving environment.

🌱 Previous experience as a Junior Buyer, Purchasing Assistant, Procurement Assistant or similar would be advantageous, although Cocoba is equally interested in someone with relevant transferable experience and a strong willingness to learn.
