Their ingredient portfolio includes herbs, spices, seasonings, fruits, vegetables, grains, seeds, functional ingredients, nutrition solutions and IQF products. The business has teams operating across the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Thailand.
Langdon is now looking for a highly organised and commercially minded Commercial Support Executive to join their UK and Ireland sales team in London, SE1.

The Opportunity
This is a varied position providing administrative, commercial and analytical support to the wider sales team.
The Commercial Support Executive will play an important role in ensuring day-to-day sales activity runs smoothly, supporting customer relationships and helping the team maximise growth across both existing and prospective accounts. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Customer Service, Procurement, Operations and Finance.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Administration
π Prepare quotations, proposals and customer documentation alongside the Sales Manager.
π» Maintain accurate customer information, pricing and product data within the companyβs CRM systems.
π¦ Organise customer product samples and maintain sample stock in line with internal processes.
π€ Support the onboarding of new customers, coordinating account setup, credit checks and documentation with the Finance team.
π Maintain new business pipeline reports, product forecasts, contract trackers and sales agreements.
π₯οΈ Assist with the preparation of presentations and commercial updates for monthly review meetings.
π Provide additional administrative and commercial support to the Sales Manager and wider team when required.
Coordination and Communication
π Act as the office-based link between the sales team and internal departments, including Marketing, Product Development, Customer Service, Procurement, Operations and Finance
The successful candidate will help ensure information is communicated accurately and customer requirements are progressed efficiently.
Customer and Account Support
π± Manage a selection of customer accounts, helping to grow existing product supply and identify new commercial opportunities.
π Respond to enquiries from prospective customers and escalate opportunities to the relevant sales colleague.
β±οΈ Ensure quotations, customer requests and service-related issues receive timely follow-up.
π Support Account Managers with customer presentations, product information and commercial documentation.
π¦ Coordinate the preparation and dispatch of product samples alongside the Customer Service and Purchasing teams.
π Maintain the sample request tracker, ensuring information is accurate, actions are followed up and the sales team has clear visibility of progress.

About You
Langdon is looking for someone with previous experience in a sales support role / commercial administration position / customer support or customer service role or sales operations environment.
π» Experience using CRM and ERP systems, with Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience desirable.
π Experience supporting sales teams with reporting, forecasting and customer documentation.
π Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
π Excellent attention to detail and confidence managing reports, trackers and commercial data.
π The ability to prepare professional customer documentation and internal presentations.
