π As the business continues to grow, Dina Foods is looking to appoint an experienced Head of Finance / FD to strengthen its finance function, improve reporting accuracy and provide commercially focused leadership to the Board.
π This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys transforming finance functions, simplifying processes and helping ambitious businesses make better commercial decisions.

The Opportunity
π You'll lead the finance function, working closely with the Directors to improve the quality, accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in line with UK GAAP.
π€ This isn't about adding unnecessary complexity. Dina Foods is looking for someone who can quickly identify opportunities for improvement, implement practical solutions and build a finance function that supports business growth.
π‘ You'll provide commercial insight, strengthen financial controls, improve costing models and ensure finance becomes a genuine business partner across operations and commercial teams.

Transformation Roadmap:
π Phase 1 β Assessment & Recommendations
π Review current finance processes, systems, controls and reporting.
π Assess the accuracy and reliability of management information.
π Review costing methodology, stock reporting and margin reporting.
β οΈ Identify key risks, weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
πΊοΈ Develop a practical roadmap for short, medium and long-term improvements.

βοΈ Phase 2 β Implementation
π Design and implement improved management reporting and KPI dashboards.
π Establish a robust and consistent month-end reporting process.
π· Develop reliable costing models and margin reporting.
π» Review ERP systems and finance processes to improve efficiency.
π₯ Coach and support the finance team.
π‘οΈ Strengthen financial controls, governance and reporting discipline.

π Phase 3 β Ongoing Finance Leadership
π€ Continue providing strategic leadership to the finance function.
π° Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and commercial decision-making.
π Deliver insightful Board reporting and financial guidance.
β Carry out ongoing finance health checks to ensure continuous improvement.

About You
βοΈ Previous Finance Director, Head of Finance or Financial Controller leadership experience.
βοΈ Strong UK GAAP knowledge, including management reporting and statutory reporting.
βοΈ Experience improving finance functions, systems and internal controls.
βοΈ Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting operational and strategic decision-making.
βοΈ Experience developing costing models, improving margins and strengthening management information.
βοΈ A practical, collaborative approach focused on delivering meaningful improvements rather than unnecessary complexity.
