With a purpose-built 25,000 sq ft BRC and Soil Association accredited manufacturing facility, the business is entering an exciting new phase of growth and is now looking to appoint an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager. π

This is a high-impact commercial role focused heavily on winning new business opportunities across Grocery, Foodservice and Private Label manufacturing.
Dundeis is looking for a proactive commercial βhunterβ who thrives on opening doors, building relationships and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving growth through:

Building strategic customer relationships across multiple channels
This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys prospecting, networking and commercially leading opportunities from concept through to launch.

π Key Responsibilities
π€ New Business Development
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across UK Grocery, Retail and Foodservice channels
- Prospect new buying contacts and category opportunities within major retail groups
- Build relationships with buyers, category managers and innovation teams
- Generate and manage a strong pipeline of new customer opportunities
π¦ Private Label & Contract Packing
- Lead the acquisition of new private label manufacturing projects
- Manage retailer and foodservice tenders and development briefs
- Promote Dundeisβ end-to-end capabilities across sourcing, product development, packaging and production
- Secure new opportunities across ambient grocery and snacking categories
π Commercial Strategy
- Work cross-functionally with NPD, operations and supply chain teams
- Deliver commercially viable customer solutions
- Manage CRM activity, sales forecasting and pipeline reporting
- Monitor retailer activity, trends and emerging category opportunities
π Customer Development
- Expand existing customer relationships into new categories and product areas
- Develop partnerships with retailers, wholesalers, distributors and foodservice operators
- Attend trade shows, customer meetings and industry events

β About You:
- FMCG sales or business development experience
- Proven track record winning new business within Grocery, Foodservice or Private Label
- Strong understanding of UK retail structures and buying functions
- Experience working with major retailers or foodservice groups
- Demonstrated success in prospecting and pipeline generation
β Highly Desirable
- Experience across snacks, nuts, cereals, dried foods, ingredients or ambient grocery
- Knowledge of private label manufacturing or contract packing
- Existing retailer or foodservice buyer relationships
- Experience managing tenders and retailer development briefs
- Understanding of BRC or food manufacturing environments
