🍛 From herbs & spices to pulses, grains, nuts, chutneys and poppadoms, Natco plays a key role in delivering flavoursome, healthy meals — partnering with major UK supermarkets across both own-label and private label ranges.
🚀 They are now looking to appoint a Quality / Technical Assistant to support their Technical Team and help maintain their BRC A Grade accreditation, ensuring food safety, quality and compliance across site.
THE ROLE:
🏭 Playing a key role on the factory floor, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of operations
📋 Conducting internal audits & GMP audits in line with audit schedules
⚙️ Monitoring production processes against Food Safety & Quality standards
🧾 Auditing production paperwork to ensure full traceability and accurate record-keeping
🧪 Carrying out lab testing on raw materials & packaging (pass / hold / reject decisions)
🔧 Completing calibration checks on equipment
📣 Supporting customer complaint investigations, root cause analysis & corrective actions
📊 Assisting with maintaining BRC and customer-specific accreditations
ABOUT YOU:
🏭 Previous QA / Technical experience in food manufacturing (ideal, not essential)
📚 Understanding of GMP, QMS and internal auditing processes
⚖️ Knowledge of Food Safety & Labelling legislation (advantageous)
💬 Confident communicator across production & technical teams
💻 Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, SharePoint)
