THE OPPORTUNITY
👤 Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility across Health & Safety, facilities, and site operations
🏗️ You’ll play a key role in shaping a safe, compliant and high-performing environment across multiple sites including Buckingham, Colindale and Hayes
📈 A chance to lead from the front – driving HSE strategy, continuous improvement, and embedding a strong safety-first culture across the business
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
⚖️ Ensure full compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and all relevant legislation
📋 Develop, review and implement H&S policies, procedures and management systems
🧠 Partner with department leaders to embed safe systems of work and conduct risk assessments
👥 Lead and coordinate the Health & Safety Committee, ensuring actions are followed through
🎓 Deliver and organise relevant H&S training across the business
🚨 Manage accident reporting, investigations and preventative actions
🔥 Oversee fire safety, risk assessments, drills and site security systems
🏢 Take ownership of facilities, site maintenance, utilities and contractor management
📊 Advise senior leadership on current and emerging legislation, driving proactive compliance
ABOUT YOU
🎓 NEBOSH / IOSH qualified (or equivalent)
🏭 Experience within Health & Safety and/or Facilities in a complex environment
🔍 Strong auditing, inspection and risk identification experience
🏢 Background managing multi-site operations and contractor safety
🔥 Proven experience in fire safety and risk assessments
💡 A proactive mindset with a passion for building a safety-first culture
