πŸš€ Join Taiko – The UK’s Leading Sushi & Food To Go Innovator

🍱 Established in 1997 as the first manufacturer of sushi for the UK supermarket industry, Taiko has grown into the most innovative manufacturer of Sushi, Food To Go, Prepared Meals and Snacking products in the UK.

πŸ›’ Supplying major retailers including Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury’s, Taiko has launched more first-to-market Sushi and Food To Go products than any other UK sushi manufacturer over the past 25 years.

🀝 Taiko is now looking for a proactive and commercially driven individual to join the Wonderfield Group on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover). A structured handover will be provided.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

πŸ“Š Account Management – Nurture existing Grocery customer relationships, maximise profitability and drive customer satisfaction. Develop account plans, promotional calendars and product development pipelines.

πŸš€ Business Development – Build a pipeline of new Grocery opportunities aligned to Taiko’s capabilities and convert them into sales.

THE ROLE:

🀝 Ensure customers are fully supported and issues resolved promptly.
πŸ’° Monitor customer profitability and implement commercial interventions where required.
🧠 Collaborate with customers, NPD and internal stakeholders to scope and launch new concepts.
πŸ“£ Agree promotional and marketing plans with retail customers.
🏬 Conduct regular store visits to track trends and competitor activity.
πŸ” Identify new customer and partnership opportunities and assess commercial viability.
πŸ“ Manage commercial administration and documentation accurately.
πŸ“¦ Prepare and submit new product information and support buyer presentations alongside NPD.

πŸ›’ Grocery sector experience with a clear understanding of UK retail operations.
🀝 Ability to work cross-functionally and understand wider business implications.

πŸš€ Experience launching new products into major retailers.
