Cambridge Distillery is seeking a UK Commercial Manager to own and execute its UK commercial strategy across on-trade, off-trade, and strategic partners.
This is a hands-on, accountable role with real ownership. The successful hire will personally manage key accounts, bring clarity and discipline to pricing, and help elevate the capability of the wider sales function.
Cambridge Distillery is looking for someone who can make sound commercial decisions, and introduce calm, structured thinking into how the business sellsโwhile protecting its premium positioning.

๐ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
๐ Own and deliver the UK commercial plan in line with Cambridge Distilleryโs premium positioning
๐ท Build, manage, and defend robust pricing structures across all channels
๐ค Personally manage a portfolio of strategic UK accounts
๐ Lead negotiations with confidence and commercial clarity
๐งฎ Ensure discounts, promotions, and deals are margin-aware and properly approved
๐ฅ Mentor and support junior sales resource(s)
๐ Produce credible forecasts and clear commercial reporting
๐ฏ Act as the internal voice of the UK market, feeding insight back into the wider business

๐ ABOUT YOU
๐พ Proven UK commercial sales experience within premium spirits, wine, or adjacent luxury FMCG
๐ช Strong understanding of the UK on-trade and/or premium off-trade
๐ฐ Demonstrable experience building and managing pricing structures
๐ข Commercially numerate, confident owning decisions and numbers
๐ง Comfortable operating independently within a founder-led business
Highly Desirable
๐ Experience working in scale-up or premium challenger brands
๐ฅ Experience mentoring or managing junior sales staff
๐ค Established UK trade relationships
