To fuel healthier, more active lifestyles with macro-counted, high-protein meals packed with flavour and made from top-quality ingredients. Now stocked in major UK retailers, they’re growing fast — and they’re on the lookout for a National Account Manager to join their ambitious sales team.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
🎯 This is a key commercial role that will be instrumental in driving The Gym Kitchen’s brand growth across grocery and online retail.
📈 You’ll be responsible for delivering and executing customer growth plans, backed by data-driven insight and close collaboration with category, marketing, and production teams.
🧠 Using your knowledge of the grocery landscape, you’ll drive performance, grow distribution, and champion the brand in front of retail buyers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
📊 Generate retailer-specific plans to drive sales and growth and analyse category and customer data to support business plans
📅 Build customer-specific promotional calendars, and develop and implement full customer contact and sales strategies
📦 Manage customer product mix aligned to brand/category goals
🛍️ Drive new business and support existing listings & NPD launches and lead account support across e-commerce channels
🎤 Organise and lead sales meetings, develop pitch decks and proposals and execute retailer activations and sampling events
📊 Forecast volume & communicate cross-functionally with ops & production and present compelling insights and prepare buyer-facing decks
👟 Complete regular store visits and attend key retailer conferences
ABOUT YOU:
🏬 FMCG experience managing grocery retail accounts (Top 4 essential)
📘 Proven ability to build and deliver customer business plans
📈 Commercially savvy — confident with data and P&L
🎯 Structured selling approach and a strong “customer-first” mindset
💬 Excellent communicator, influencer and relationship builder
🌍 Ability to work remotely while staying closely connected to the team
🔥 Entrepreneurial, ambitious and self-motivated
💪 Tenacious, proactive, resilient and always pushing for results
🚗 Flexibility to travel as needed
