THE ROLE:
Are you passionate about ensuring only the highest quality ingredients make it into products on shelves?
We are seeking a Supplier Technical Specialist / Manager who will play a critical role in the supply chain, from managing raw materials to guaranteeing the quality of every finished product that leaves the facility.
๐งช Own Ingredient Quality: Manage the flow of all raw materials, ensuring they meet rigorous quality and safety standards.
๐ Risk Assessment & Management: Conduct and update risk assessments covering allergen, microbiological, chemical, physical, and vulnerability aspects to ensure the integrity of all materials.
๐ Supplier & Document Control: Onboard new suppliers, review manufacturing controls, and ensure all necessary documents are accessible and up to date.
๐ Specification & Compliance: Create, update, and share product specifications; support procurement with detailed ingredient specs and oversee all customer onboarding documentation.
๐ ๏ธ HACCP & Food Safety Excellence: Collaborate with Quality Managers and consultants to maintain robust food safety standards, oversee HACCP updates, and drive improvements in safety processes.
๐ Support Innovation: Work with R&D to approve ingredients and specifications for new product launches.

ABOUT YOU:
๐ฅ Experience: Previous experience in a Food Safety / Technical role, ideally within food manufacturing.
๐ Impact: Proven track record of enhancing food safety and quality assurance within a dynamic environment.
๐ง Skills: Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills to educate and influence at all levels.
