🔧 THE ROLE
As a Technical Manager at Simply Lunch, you'll ensure products are safe, legal, and of the highest quality. You'll maintain their AA+ BRCGS accreditation and set exemplary food safety standards.
You'll be the first point of contact for customer compliance and requirements, playing a key role in their mission to become a leading chilled food manufacturer.
You'll lead BRCGS and internal audits, perform regular quality checks, build collaborative customer relationships, manage the Hygiene team, and ensure all food safety standards are met.
Your technical expertise, computer literacy, and ability to communicate across all levels will be crucial.
🛠️ ABOUT YOU️
You have a food science-related degree / relevant experience in food manufacturing.
Reporting to the Technical Director, you'll manage Hygiene, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control teams.
You'll develop a robust quality assurance plan, maintain customer relationships, and lead audits to achieve key accreditations.
You're customer-focused, knowledgeable in BRCGS audits, organized, and enthusiastic about fostering a culture of food safety.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of food industry legislation are essential.
