JOB SUMMARY
βπ Rocketo is seeking a dynamic and experienced NPD Manager. This pivotal role involves managing the entire new product development process, including formulation, ingredient sourcing, co-manufacturer trials, packaging development, and commercialisation.
π§βπΌ Reporting directly to the CEO, this role demands extensive cross-functional collaboration within the team and with a variety of external partners.

THE ROLE:
π― Lead the NPD Process: Oversee the entire new product development lifecycle from inception to launch.
π‘ Strategic Conceptualisation: Develop new product strategies based on customer demand and market insights.
π Data-Driven Insights: Utilise data to understand market demand and quantify the NPD pipeline.
π¬ Financial Collaboration: Work with the finance team to create accurate NPD forecasts.
π§ͺ Formulation Leadership: Lead product formulation with assistance from veterinarians and nutritionists.
π¦ Packaging Development: Develop and produce packaging using in-house or outsourced designers.
πΏ Ingredient Sourcing: Source ingredients and vet new and existing vendors.
π Co-Manufacturer Exploration: Identify and evaluate potential new co-manufacturers.
π§ Trial Management: Set up and manage trials and initial production runs at co-manufacturers.
β Quality Control: Ensure product quality control during trials and initial production runs.
πͺ Industry Engagement: Attend events and trade shows to stay abreast of industry trends.
π Team Coordination: Ensure seamless communication and coordination within the team.

π Experience working in a similar role.
π Deep understanding of the FMCG / Pet Food industry.

π Strong ability to present data in a structured and concise manner.
