JOB SUMMARY
โ๐ Rocketo is seeking a dynamic and experienced NPD Manager. This pivotal role involves managing the entire new product development process, including formulation, ingredient sourcing, co-manufacturer trials, packaging development, and commercialisation.
๐งโ๐ผ Reporting directly to the CEO, this role demands extensive cross-functional collaboration within the team and with a variety of external partners.

THE ROLE:
๐ฏ Lead the NPD Process: Oversee the entire new product development lifecycle from inception to launch.
๐ก Strategic Conceptualisation: Develop new product strategies based on customer demand and market insights.
๐ Data-Driven Insights: Utilise data to understand market demand and quantify the NPD pipeline.
๐ฌ Financial Collaboration: Work with the finance team to create accurate NPD forecasts.
๐งช Formulation Leadership: Lead product formulation with assistance from veterinarians and nutritionists.
๐ฆ Packaging Development: Develop and produce packaging using in-house or outsourced designers.
๐ฟ Ingredient Sourcing: Source ingredients and vet new and existing vendors.
๐ Co-Manufacturer Exploration: Identify and evaluate potential new co-manufacturers.
๐ง Trial Management: Set up and manage trials and initial production runs at co-manufacturers.
โ Quality Control: Ensure product quality control during trials and initial production runs.
๐ช Industry Engagement: Attend events and trade shows to stay abreast of industry trends.
๐ Team Coordination: Ensure seamless communication and coordination within the team.

๐ Deep understanding of the FMCG / Pet Food industry.
