The business has grown significantly in recent years and they are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Manager – to continue to develop their convenience, wholesale, foodservice and discount channels across Scotland and the wider UK.

THE ROLE: SALES MANAGER

πŸ“ˆ Profitably manage & develop current customer base.

🎯 Identify and target new sales development opportunities.

🀝 Manage customer JBPs and associated marketing activity.

πŸ’° Deliver against agreed sales budgets.

πŸ“Š Maintain & manage internal sales reporting functions for customer base.

🌐 Monitor and report on market & competitor activities.

🀝 Support Commercial Director / senior management team – as required.

🌟 Identification of and attendance at appropriate trade shows / exhibitions.

ABOUT YOU:

Among other core skills, the successful candidate will be well-organised, self-motivated, an excellent communicator, analytical, and ambitious. Previous FMCG industry sales experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

πŸš€ Proven track record of business development, preferably in the Food Industry.

πŸ’¬ Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

πŸ”„ Proactive and flexible approach to work.

πŸ’» Excellent IT and Presentation skills.

✈️ Must be willing to travel; this is a field-based role.
