FOODCHAIN are excited to present a newly created Assistant Brand Manager opportunity to join a growing food start up brand, CAPSICANA, the adventurous UK based Latin American food brand.
We are looking for a creative, ambitious and driven Marketer to join the Capsicana team as they enter the next phase of growth.
Having already gained significant listings in major grocery retailers, 2020 and beyond will see them grow distribution and widen their customer base as they continue to deliver compelling innovation through authentic recipes and ingredients in South American food!
BRINGING A TASTE FOR ADVENTURE
Having travelled in the Americas, founder Ben Jackson, wanted authentic Latin American meals back in the UK. So, with a market stall, £500, hard work and total focus, he developed quick cook Latin American sauces with the aim to enable busy people to easily cook tasty, healthy meals at home.
The UK market (worth £379m) is dominated by Old El Paso and Santa Maria. With very little quality innovation this leaves it ripe for disruption. Independent online research shows 60% of shoppers want more authentic LATAM foods and 64% want regional specialties.
Capsicana use ingredients from the region in their authentic recipes and aim to offer truly differentiated products.
They are stocked in Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Ocado and Booths and recently launched into the Belgian market.
